Welcome!  We are a small family farm located in Southwest Mississippi.  The Jumbo Brown Coturnix Quail are known for their fine qualities.  The Jumbo Coturnix Quail mature in six weeks  and will began laying eggs at seven weeks of age. These hardy birds are an exceptional choice in raising for meat or their egg production.    

We feel by focusing on this exceptional breed of quail, we can offer our customers the very best of the Jumbo Brown Coturnix Quail.  We may not be as big as some other hatcheries but you will not find another farm that offers a better quality or the personal attention we give to our customers.  We are always here to answer your phone calls & emails promptly.  

Our Coturnix Quail are raised on our farm and eggs gathered daily to assure freshness.  Our breeding ratio is 2 to 1 to assure a high fertility rate, but we cannot guarantee hatching eggs due to variables during shipping & incubation, but we strive to provide you with the very best eggs to hatch.

General information on incubating and brooding Coturnix Quail:  An incubator with a auto turner & forced air (fan) is the best choice in purchasing an incubator. Incubation period 17 days, forced air incubators temperature 99 to 100 F with a humidity level of 60%.    Pine straw make a good litter for the chicks with a brood temperature of 95  degrees for the first 3-4 weeks than lower by 5 degrees each week after. Coturnix chicks require a feed containing 28 to 30% protein, such levels can be found in a game bird or turkey starter feed.  More information is on our "Incubation & Chick" care.  We welcome your questions on raising Jumbo Coturnix Quail, feel free to call or email.  We use & recommend Purina Game Bird Feed "Layena".
